This sculptural bench was dedicated to my art partner and best friend- Laurie Spitz. The sculpture is based on an earlier artists' book we made together in 2013 (See Spitz & Pollack Artists' Books).
Inscription penned by Laurie for that artists book called An Abecedaria for Our Times:
"A magic cube opens and reconfigures into eight alphabet blocks whose illustrated surfaces shift, connect and break away in this irreverent look at what children are learning today"
